Well, first there is Volker Pohlers. A sharp guy, he helped me a lot in 1996 with the original coding of the component. Unfortunately, as life goes, I lost track of him over the course of years. So if you read this, Volker: Thanks a lot! :-)
Mark Steiner helped me fixing an annoying bug in the overlay code in 1998.
Stephan Ermich found several flaws in the original documentation and made it waterproof.
